There is probably a world of choices available to pool purchasers that are not mentioned here. Following are some of the most frequently requested finishes. Decking is important for both functional and aesthetic reasons.

Bricks create beautiful decks and provide special accents when surrounding a swimming pool. They are also less costly than stone, but easier to install either on sand as a casual decking, or with concrete, creating a more sophisticated appearance.

This type of finish makes concrete appear unique and distinctive. It is created by a process whereby the finisher brushes small pebbles into the surface of the deck.  Some people call this pea or rainbow gravel.

Stone is one of the more beautiful products used in all types of construction, especially surrounding a magnificent pool or spa. It tends to be a little more expensive to purchase and install, but well worth it to many families.

Pavers are especially popular in driveways, walkways, decorative walls and garden landscapes. They are less costly than stone, but beautiful and plentiful in all areas of the country.

Most pools have decking made of concrete. There are exciting new ways concrete can be finished to give you the distinctive look that you want. We use a product called Advanced Deck that will not stain or mildew and is 30% cooler than concrete. This can even be applied to your existing patio, so that all decking surfaces match.  Additionally this coating can be applied in patterns of your choice, from bricks to cobblestone.
